Working together is key to the learning and development of each child.
We build strong relationships in the following ways: feedback at the beginning and end of the day, newsletters, parents evenings, open days, emails, social media and our website. We hold sports days, open days, summer fun days and celebrate festivals together.
Our social events give parents the opportunity to get actively involved in their child’s nursery experience with key workers and the staff team. We will regularly ask you to complete a questionnaire to ensure we are offering the service you require and ask for feedback on our services.
We will let you know about your child’s development milestones and daily life at nursery on Tapestry, an online journal where we record all the learning and fun of your child’s early education. Your child’s Learning Journal will record special moments and keep you involved in a partnership with us as your child blossoms and grows. Our aim is to work in partnership with you to create a record of your child’s progress. Parents are able to view and comment on these special moments, and are able to contribute their own stories of the child’s life outside nursery.
“Partnerships with parents are highly effective in supporting a consistent approach to children’s learning. Staff collect a wide range of detailed information from parents to promote children’s well-being”.
Ofsted Inspection Report for Lofthouse August 2015
Education and Development in a nurturing setting are at the core of what we do.
A key-person will keep you informed. We pride ourselves on communication and working together.
There are numerous funding options that could be available to you. We’ll advise which are suitable for you.
“Parents are made welcome and suitable information is collected
and shared regularly with them to ensure children’s care is consistent”
