The vouchers are taken from your salary before your usual Tax and NI contributions are deducted so the vouchers could save you up to £933 on childcare costs each year – or £1,866 if your partner also signs up to the scheme.
Daisy Chain Childcare accepts most vouchers. Please contact your employer to see if they have a childcare voucher scheme in place.
In early 2017 the government will close voucher schemes for new entrants. It will replace it with their new scheme.
Under the Government’s new Tax-Free Childcare scheme, which will now launch in “early 2017” – no specific date has been given by the Government – eligible families will get 20% of their annual childcare costs paid for by the Government.
The way it works is that for every 80p you pay into a newly-created Childcare Account, the Government will contribute 20p. This could mean up to £2,000 per child (the scheme assumes a maximum of £10,000 per year childcare costs per child. If you pay more, you won’t get more help).

Daisy Chain Childcare is willing to enter into a direct voucher scheme with small local employers/self-employed customers. This negates to need to enrol in a large corporate scheme. Please contact the Finance Office on 0113 285 7014 for more details.
