Key-Person

Your Key-Person

Each child has a key-person.  Your key-person will take a special interest and develop a close relationship with you and your child, ensuring that all of your child’s needs are being met. When you start nursery they will discuss with you your child’s likes and dislikes and any routines or special requirements you may have. The key-person will be responsible for observing and monitoring your child’s development whilst in the nursery. This will be recorded in your child’s online ‘learning journal’ through our system called Tapestry. Your child’s journal will be available for you to view at any time and you may make your own comments if you wish. We love to hear of children’s special interests at home as this help us plan our activities.
