Outdoor Play

At Daisy Chain we know the importance of outdoor play and offer daily opportunities for physical activity to promote confidence and well-being.  We believe this is one of the best things we can do for children’s health and education.

Our outdoor spaces are designed to capture young imaginations and make your child’s time playing outside happy and fun

The secure outdoor play areas are full of activities and our equipment has been specially selected to offer little ones challenges, fun and entertainment. As well as climbing equipment we have hard surface areas for bikes, hoops, scooters, as well as quieter areas such as the story corner. Soft surface play areas ensure children of all ages can enjoy outdoor play safely. All of our nurseries have vegetable plots for the children to grow their own fruit and vegetables, which promotes healthy eating.  Messy play is available outdoors too, children love making mud pies in our ‘mud kitchens’. We promote recycling outdoors; pots and pans make great musical instruments in our “bish, bash, bosh” area, empty cable reels are fantastic for construction play and drainpipes make amazing water cascades.

Our aim is to provide as many learning opportunities outdoors as well as indoors, through play and fun.
