The Nursery
Daisy Chain Childcare at Adel is a bright and friendly nursery situated in a quiet leafy setting. The purpose-built, single-story nursery is designed to cater for young children’s needs with features that actively encourage child development. Because we believe children learn best through play, all resources are freely available at child height, encouraging independent play and self-choice.

There are four childcare rooms; two Baby Units (Pixies & Imps), an over 2’s Room (Sprites) and a pre-school room (Elves).

Each childcare room offers direct access to a safe outdoor play areas which includes:
- Garden plot
- Soft play surface
- Baby play area
- Grassed playground
- Story corner
- Outdoor classroom.
The nursery also enjoys access to the school’s nature garden and use of the school playing field for special events such as Sport’s Day.
Our staff team
Our well qualified staff team all share a love of working with children and follow a programme of continuous personal development. Each child has a dedicated key person who provides daily feedback on children’s progress and development.
Tasty and nutritious meals at Daisy Chain Childcare Adel
Our on-site cook provides delicious, nutritious meals from freshly prepared local produce with a 5 weekly rolling menu. We are proud holders of a 5 Star Hygiene rating for Environmental Health.
The nursery is situated within school grounds allowing us to offer a “wrap around” service for the school’s nursery in addition to the full daycare service for the wider community.
Awards
Daisy Chain Childcare was the first private daycare company to be accredited with a GOLD award with the Leeds Quality Assurance Scheme in 2005, an award endorsed by the Investors in Children Kitemark. Daisy Chain Childcare received the Investors in People accreditation in 2011.
