Your Child at Daisy Chain
Our staff team will help you and your child become familiar with the nursery environment from the very start with initial settling visits to ensure you are happy and confident with the high quality care we offer. A key person will discuss with you your child’s likes and dislikes and any preferred routines.
Our aim is to help all children feel safe; adopt healthy lifestyles; achieve and enjoy; make a positive contribution and develop skills for the future.
We share information with you via Tapestry, an online journal that records all the learning and fun of your child’s early education. Each child’s development and personal interests are recorded in their Learning Journal using observations, photos and videos from nursery. We record special moments and keep you and any person you authorise, involved in a partnership with us as your child blossoms and grows. Parents are able to view and comment on these special moments, and are able to contribute their own stories of the child’s life outside of nursery.
Our ethos is that all learning is achieved through play and we follow a play based curriculum; the National Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our staff team follow children’s interests to help them learn and develop, providing ‘free play’ and adult led activities that appeal to them.
Outdoor play is always included in daily life at Daisy Chain as we believe this is one of the best things we can do for children’s health, education and well-being.
Our nursery environments and outdoor spaces are designed to capture young imaginations and make your child’s time at Daisy Chain happy and fun.
At Daisy Chain we help children blossom to their full potential.
