Welcome to Daisy Chain Childcare. Our nurseries provide high-quality childcare and early years education for children in a safe, secure, stimulating and fun environment.
We are extremely proud of our organization and the team we have assembled to support it. Daisy Chain Childcare came about as a result of Jo Gomersall, (Managing Director) not being able to find childcare provision that met her expectations as a working mother, and so the seeds of Daisy Chain Childcare were sown. All three of the company founders; Jo, Helen Somers (Finance Director) and Denise Wilson (Company Secretary), are mothers and draw on this experience in the running of the company. Denise and Jo are a mother and daughter team and Helen and Jo have been friends for nearly 30 years.
The company aims to provide a warm, nurturing and safe environment in which children can reach their full potential, tailored not only to the child but the needs of their families.

Daisy Chain Nurseries began with a brand new purpose built facility within the grounds of Haigh Road Infant School, closely followed by a similar setting located in the grounds of Adel Primary School. Daisy Chain went on to make a successful tender to Leeds City Council to run the day care section of Lofthouse Children’s Centre, based within Rodillian High School. In addition to Day Nurseries, Daisy Chain also runs an Out of School Service in Rothwell and most recently, the company opened it’s first Pre-school in Middleton, Leeds.
