Welcome to our nursery in Rothwell. Our purpose-built nursery building is well resourced and equipped, catering for the individual needs of children, and has access to a sizeable outdoor area. The premises are designed to cater to young children’s needs with features that actively encourage the development of personal skills. Because we believe children learn best through play, all resources are freely available at child height, encouraging independent play and self-choice.

Meet Amy Schofield, the manager at Daisy Chain Rothwell
I’m a nursery manager with a passion for early years education and creating safe, nurturing spaces where children can grow in confidence and curiosity. My childcare journey began at 17, where I started as an apprentice with Daisy Chain. With their guidance, training, and encouragement, I was able to build my skills, gain valuable experience, and grow in confidence as an early years professional. Over the years, I worked my way up through different roles and have worked across all age groups within the nursery, and I’m proud to now be managing the nursery, supporting both children and staff to thrive. Outside of work, I enjoy going to concerts, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, baking sweet treats, and unwinding through gaming. These hobbies give me a balance of creativity, fun, and relaxation that I bring into both my personal and professional life.
