Daisy Chain Childcare, Rothwell are celebrating recognition as one of the top three percent of childcare providers in the UK to receive ’Outstanding in All Areas’ by Ofsted - the Office for Standards in Education and Children’s Services. Ofsted regulates and inspects Early Years settings to ensure that all young children are receiving the right care in a learning environment that they deserve.

Daisy Chain Childcare has received top marks for all of the ‘early year’s provision’ criteria set by Ofsted, including overall effectiveness of the early years, effectiveness of leadership and management, quality of the provision and outcome for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Over the last ten years the company has opened four nurseries in Leeds, Wakefield and Rotherham and has received many accolades including a ‘Gold’ awards with the Leeds Quality Assurance scheme and for its Health and Safety practices. Last year the company gained the Investors in People award for the training and development of staff and three years ago, Leeds City Council chose Daisy Chain to provide the childcare at Lofthouse Children’s Centre based at Rodillian School. Children and staff at Daisy Chain Childcare, Rothwell, are celebrating the company’s 10th anniversary in March. Julie Anderson, Nursery Manager said, “we will be holding a big party on 9th March with lots of party games, fun and entertainment for the children”.

Children and staff of Daisy Chain Childcare nursery based at Lofthouse Children’s Centre have been training hard for a British Heart Foundation Artie’s Olympic’s Day.

Rothwell nursery are victorious, bringing home the cup at this year’s teambuilding event held in Kettlewell in the Yorkshire Dales. Well done everyone.
