Nursery Rooms: Pixies – The Baby Room – Staff ratio 1:3
Our Pixie room is designed to offer a relaxing, stimulating environment that promotes the individual learning of each baby. Here we encourage babies to experience all areas of provision through free play and focused activities. We are taking our lead from the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’ framework, which supports children in their earliest years, providing them with opportunities to experience activities using their whole bodies and therefore developing their sensory skills.

In the Pixie baby room your key-worker will ensure all your baby’s needs are met in a quiet, stimulating environment. Our on-site cook prepares all our meals fresh daily, taking into account any special dietary needs. We have lots of messy play activities and age appropriate toys to feed your baby’s young imagination with plenty of time for lots of comforting cuddles.
An individual report is given to you at the end of the day to keep you informed of the activities your child has participated in, what they have eaten and any development milestones they may have achieved.
